NWA forum knife, ordering etc.

I do not have the stamp yet but i will have it next week. It will have the letters
BFSK 2007 it will be in a half moon shape. The whole stamp will be the same size as my other stamp and will be on the opposite side of the blade in the same location. I too, did not want to put a HUGE series of letters on there which is why I came up with the design I just stated.Oh, I almost forgot this stamp will add nothing to the price.

Fishing!!!!! But what about our knives? You can't go fishing!!!!!! You have to be making lots and lots of knives........

Besides, the fish aren't biting on Memorial Day. They are too busy honoring our fallen troops.

So you might as well stay home and make our knives...... :D

Just sent Paypal $80 deposit for order. :)
Full package
Green micarta
scout steel pocket

I think Nick NEEDS to go fishing..............with all them backorders, he won't be sleeping in for awhile.

As a knifemaker who absolutely "hates" being on a timeline, I say we let him work in peace for as long as it takes. I'd say this has been a bit overwhelming for him, all the response, and all the pressure.

I think tknife was handling his e-mail. He needs it :)

Quick reminder to everybody, this Friday is June 1st. Please make sure and send in your deposit. Thanks!

Thanks guys and gals;) The fishing was great. My friend and I did quite well. We caught about 50 Smallmouth Bass the largest being about 6 lbs.

bodfish is spot on, A venture such as this can get overwhelming. But, I have been plugging away and trying not to let myself get overwhelmed. Please believe me when I say I really wish I could have all of these knives done in a week. But I think everyone knows that is just not possible.I have 35 blanks cut out and will be finishing up the rest of the blanking this week. Then next week will mark the start of allot of grinding:thumbup:

Thanks again
Nick:)

Nick, please don't rush, we can wait. Get in as much fishing as you want and enjoy it, 'cos enjoyment's the point of these knives as well.

We'll all certainly enjoy owning and, hopefully, using them. I certainly will. You might as well enjoy making them and that means doing it in your own time, not to a commercial schedule.

Also, from a practical viewpoint, I'm sure everyone wants a knife crafted with loving care. That takes time and concentration, on each individual knife. Feeling rushed or hassled would risk losing the edge.

So, please enjoy yourself in this venture. As much as we would all like the knives right now, we'll appreciate them as and when they come. And I expect that your enjoyment making them will show in the quality.

Did I remember to say enjoy yourself???

Rick.

P.s. Sorry for the rather dubious puns!

I second that. Please take your time and enjoy making my knife.
