NWA knife passaround

That knife looked great with a choil, but now it just looks perfect!

I also got a package from Nick today. I haven't been as excited about a knife ever. It is just amazing!

He does absolutely fantastic work!

Thanks guys, I was begining to wonder about the passaround knife. I haven't seen much on it in a while. So your post should help revive it.

Those pics. really came out nice. I made a few of these without the choil and I've got a few more to make as well:thumbup:

I actually sharpen all of my knives on a Gatco Diamond kit, but with a clamp made by me. I know most like to use the belt sander to sharpen, but I like to use something that is easily found in sporting goods stores.

Tony, I hope you post some pics of your Woodsman.

Nick:)

You kidding man..... It has been hell not posting pics, but I got out of work after dark and this knife deserves natural light:thumbup:

Check back in this forum tomorrow afternoon;)

Looking good  The size and shape of Nick's small knife makes it so usefull already, and choiless looks like it may work even better at food prep etc. I carry mine on my packstrap so that even when I am playing with other knives, the little guy is always with me.

Oh yeah and Tony, can't wait to see it :)

man.. that choiless version looks great.... i really like it.... Nick's knives are all super comfortable...

Tony-- looking forward to seeing your pics man... i'm jealous...:o

 Well, you do a better job with that than I can do with a belt sander and Edge Pro. You've got a damn promising career as a blade sharpener if your day job ever goes away. ;)

Wanted to bump this back up and see where the knife is. Don't wanna be a jerk, but this thread seems to keep getting buried without many updates. (And the knife does still belong to Nick afterall.) Please keep the passaround moving. Thanks.

Hey guys...been meaning to come in and post. I had the knife over the holiday..took it out for some field testing...was getting ready to send it to the next person and my hubby ended up going to the hospital. I realized last week that knife had been languishing in my briefcase! I sent it to the next person on the list on Monday and it should have arrived on Wednesday. My sincere apologies for not getting the knife on it's way in a timely fashion.

My report is that the knife was a great little camp knife...very comfortable in my hand. It performed very well both in the kitchen and in the woods. It would be an excellent backpacking knife...small enough to carry comfortably and not add a lot of weight, but still sturdy enough to perform a multitude of tasks. I'll post some pics this evening...

Right on, thanks for posting. I figured that around the holidays it may have gotten swept aside :)

Totally sweet blade there Mapper.

Thanks HD. I'm still blown away every time I pick it up, is so comfortable in my hand and cuts like a laser.

Bueller, Bueller... It's been almost a month since we've seen where the knife is. I knew we should have installed a LoJack on it! Come on folks, post if you have it.

Yeah, a check in, to at least say, " I have it" would be nice. It has been a good while since I have heard anything on this. Thanks T for bringing it up:thumbup:

Nick:)

Thayne, just a reminder to take me out of the lineup when my turn comes around, as I was able to give a mini review of my own knife.
