NWA knife passaround

Thanks for the great review Dr. Bill. Glad to see that the knife is still holding up well. That slide show is pretty cool:thumbup: I'll see if I can get in contact with the next inspector.

Thanks
Nick:)

I haven't heard anything on this in quite some time. Who has the knife right now?

Thanks
Ncik

Nick, have you decided whether you are going to offer this knife? If so, I' in. Thanks,

Thanks Dr. Bill.

Flix, I would be more than happy to make you one. Just send me a e-mail with what color handle material and your shipping info again, and we'll be good to go.

Nick:)

I need to know who to send it to next. I will post some pics and a review this weekend. Thanks for letting me try it out Nick.

Nick-

Did a little pass around for you with one of the knives I have. Got some pics coming of the bison my buddy shot this year, your knife doing the post mortem honors! The guide who used it, was really impressed how well it held an edge thru an entire bison. I can still shave with it, no touch ups so far. I'll send you the pics once they send them to me.

It's probably going to be tougher contacting eachother etc. during the holidays, but looks like it's moving along pretty smoothly. Nice review by the way halfserrated

Hey all...got the knife yesterday in the mail. Will test it over the weekend and post pics! BTW...this is my second time to play with it as I got to use it a little when Dr. Bill had it. I had actually forgotten that I had signed up for the passaround. Nice surprise to get! I'm looking forward to having more play time with it!
Peace,
Donna

Got an email from Nick a few weeks ago saying I was next on the list for my knife. I had placed an order back last April for one of these, and had actually canceled the order when money got tight. I am SO glad someone forgot to tell Nick! :D

I asked Nick to do up a choil-less version, as it was easy to tell from the reviews that the choil actually needed to get bigger or go away all together to be functional and not just for aesthetics. I think he knocked it out of the ballpark. Sorry for the bad lighting in the pics.

The scales are actually green micarta, but look dark in the lighting. The craftsmanship ranks among the best I have seen, and the handle fits my hand like I was standing there and it was custom ground for me. This could easily become my favorite small fixed blade.

Anyway, this isn't a proper review of the actual passaround knife, just thought some of you might be interested in how the blade looks without a choil.

I'll not be needing my slot in the passaround now, as I have my own!

Thanks Nick, this is fantastic work!

Oh, every time I get a knife from a custom maker, I always seem to say to myself, wow, this is the sharpest knife yet! Well, this time I mean it. :D I may be wrong, but looks like Nick may have used an Edge Pro?
