Got an email from Nick a few weeks ago saying I was next on the list for my knife. I had placed an order back last April for one of these, and had actually canceled the order when money got tight. I am SO glad someone forgot to tell Nick!
I asked Nick to do up a choil-less version, as it was easy to tell from the reviews that the choil actually needed to get bigger or go away all together to be functional and not just for aesthetics. I think he knocked it out of the ballpark. Sorry for the bad lighting in the pics.
The scales are actually green micarta, but look dark in the lighting. The craftsmanship ranks among the best I have seen, and the handle fits my hand like I was standing there and it was custom ground for me. This could easily become my favorite small fixed blade.
Anyway, this isn't a proper review of the actual passaround knife, just thought some of you might be interested in how the blade looks without a choil.
I'll not be needing my slot in the passaround now, as I have my own!
Thanks Nick, this is fantastic work!
Oh, every time I get a knife from a custom maker, I always seem to say to myself, wow, this is the sharpest knife yet! Well, this time I mean it.

I may be wrong, but looks like Nick may have used an Edge Pro?
