Yes. Please post pictures once you receive the knife. I like seeing all the different grain/coloring of Ironwood. Ironwood and Buckeye Burl are two of my favorites.Wow, that was exciting. I can't wait to see this knife.
March?Ok I grabbed one I couldn’t resist I like me some S30V, and just noticed is that a clip point, if anyone didn’t get one that wanted one don’t worry you will get another chance in March
I believe he's referencing the typo calling this month the march botmMarch?
Agreed. Prefer the blade shape on the BOTM to the drop point on the standard 500. Also, the lack of a rear bolster really improves the look in my view, as I’ve always thought that the bolsters on the standard 500 take up too much real estate relative to the handle as a whole.I was going to try for another this morning but they were gone. Glad I at least got one. The clip looks way more proportioned than the drop point. I really hope that's true cause that was a big reason I never liked the 500. That and I think there is a loooot of metal on the original...the bolsters are way too big. So, this could be a home run for me. Fingers crossed boys....
100 series being fixed blades or 100 series being 110/112?I keep going back to look at this knife, it's so nice looking. Has Buck ever offered 100 series knives bareheaded?
