October Buck of the Month 2022...301 Stockman

I wouldn't mind a refreshed take on the 305. In fact, I'd be pretty happy if the prediction I made yesterday was wrong.

I'm curious about the cigar in the photo. Is it a clue or just some random prop? Did Buck have a knife that cigar smokers preferred?
 
It was a short video clip posted, I had to just take a screenshot at the moment it showed the knife’s box. There were lots of guesses coming out in the comments about the combo on the briefcase shown, the dates show in the paper etc, Buck did a good job of just shooting everything down and telling people to just wait for the release lol
 
The smaller size box makes you think it will be a folder. With the newspaper seemingly from the 60's, the only folders Buck offered that decade were the 110, 301, 303 and 305. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

But, the early 501s were called Esquire, another term for Lawyer, which kind of fits the theme of the video. Does anyone recognize the theme song? The 501 is coming up on it's 50th anniversary in a year or two. Scalloped cocobolo inlays would be very nice. Heck, I'd like to see a 500 Duke with the same handle treatment too.

Maybe if they did a flat ground 301 in s35vn and red micarta, they would sell the rest of the July BOTM. Lol!

Or that's just a random box that Buck was playing with, and it'll be a 124.
 
I just really hope it's not a 112..I just managed to swing a multiple 112 deal and as much as I like 'special' 112's I have to have a break! Plus I think the fixed blade Buck collectors and users deserve a special BOTM ..I think it's the 124's turn as it is such a classic and who wouldn't like a cool big Buck?
 
303 with brass frame, shokwood scales, and S45VN blades. Brass cerakoted silver, scales cerakoted bronze, and blades cerakoted green.

I'll take 3!!!
 
And order placed, I’m a sucker for a 301. The brass and green micarta look great. I do like this two blade configuration a lot, but would be nice to see something a bit different.
