October Buck of the Month 2022...301 Stockman

The brass bolsters did me in, one on order! Down to 172 remaining.

(I also picked up a plain Jane 113. I have had this in and out of my cart for a long time, as I needed to combine it with something else for the free shipping. The last time I decided to go ahead and order it, it was temporarily out of stock...)

Free shipping with a minimum purchase is worse than the candy bars they place right next to the register at the grocery store. 🤣

yep. bet I've spent more money for free shipping and got stuff I didn't really want except to get free shipping......... than if I paid the shipping costs.

im a sucker for the glass fridge full of sodas at registers.........almost always gets my money.....
 
A 301 should have three blades. They left my favorite of the three off. So I'm going to pass. I like that it's full flat ground, and I like S30v. But without the spey blade I won't carry it.

Like you I would rather have a 3 blade with the spey blade as well.

My 2018 301 two blade forum knife is real nice but many times I’ve thought how much better it would be with the third spey blade. As a Sunday gota meetin knife it works but in the wilds and some carving it is handy capped.

I'm with ya on the brass JB. It can be hit or miss depending on the scale material and color. This is gonna look good with the green. I do kinda wish it was a full on three blade stockman....

this is a nice one. took about 5 minutes to flush the pivots, strong snap and blades centered enough for me
