The production Damascus 110s were made from 1988 through 1991. They have NO special tang stamps at all, and are stamped exactly like the standard production 110s. They came with sambar stag, brown bone, or red bone scales and a nickel silver frame without finger grooves.

Does yours fit the above profile, or did you order your knife from the custom shop? If you ordered it, then it could possibly be old stock.

I ordered these from buck when the shop was called petes custom knife shop, they were both made by a woman named Dana Queen, not sure if she is currently with buck, but these 2 knives are flawless in every possible way, what i would call absolutely custom!they are both brown bone/nickel silver bolsters.

...???...Was there supposed to be pics associated with this post??? Did I miss them???

Oh, OK. Not posted...I have dial-up, too. Sucks, but it is what it is...Takes a minute or two to upload to Photobucket, but it's worth the wait...I have more problems with this crappy IBM G96 monitor...everything is dark...so if my pics look light, that's so *I* can see them... :D

Yes, that's the drawback of cable...DSL is much faster, and is not affected by gang connections...but Verizon (my local TelCo) only offers USB modem or NIC router...both of which are much slower than [older] PCI modems!!! But they are easier to install, so <sigh> Verizon only offers those now... :(

BTW: If you see an old pair of sneakers thrown over a power line (or telephone wire) outside a neighbors house, that's a "wardriving" sign that an open [unsecured] WiFi connection is nearby... :grumpy:

My main problem is everything takes so long to up/download,that less than halfway through, the program times out and everything is gone, this happens to my wife too whenever she tries to open pics it takes forever as well, very frustrating,as i'd like to sharew my little collection too,as you guys would love to see my 110s as much as i enjoy all of your pics.
