I have come across a few of those on market stalls Rachels, but I have never seen a single one where the idiot who has had it has not only messed up the 'watch blade', but also messed the other blade up too!Watchmaker's knives (if being a watchmaker means prying off the back and changing batteries)

So typical. There's a tool right there, expressly made for that purpose, and they pry with the cutting blade.I have come across a few of those on market stalls Rachels, but I have never seen a single one where the idiot who has had it has not only messed up the 'watch blade', but also messed the other blade up too! Those look to be in decent condition

"Knife Laboratory #12 Carbon Steel 1.75" Blade Double End Rosewood Handle Each (Buffalo Dental Mfg. Co. Inc. #55700)"
For working with plaster molds, I think.
There was a hardware store closing down here, about 10 years ago, and I bought a couple of the tools for taking watch-backs off, and gifted them to guys on the market. Instead of putting them to use, they sold them, and went back to just picking up a pocket knife off their stall, and using that!So typical. There's a tool right there, expressly made for that purpose, and they pry with the cutting blade.
I got the branded one from a jeweler who had extras. I think they get free knives with large battery orders.
