Of all the assisted opening folders you have, which one has the best "thwack" when

The ZT0200 and Kershaw Ram are not assisted opening folders. They just so smooth they feel like one!:D

My Kershaw Offset is a double pumper and kicks out pretty good, (haven't compared it to my Ti Tyrade which is a good one as well). My Buck Paradigm Pro also has a pretty good kick to it. My 790 Subrosa is some where in the middle of those two.

The OD-1 I had actually seemed faster, harder than any other AO I've ever tried. After that a Leek from about 6 years ago.

Some of the relatively large, heavy bladed folders have a hilariously slow AO even though people will say it's great because they spent a good deal of money on it.

HTM-DDR Gunhammer has the best "thwack" out of my assisted openers. It's got a large spring running at least 2/3rds of the length of the handle and the snap you get from the blade opening is quite significant, so much so that I have to make sure I have a firm grip on the handle before I open it.

It's one of my favourite knives right now, a lot of blade packed into a relatively small handle with excellent ergonomics. I just wish the handle was a little grippier.

my hissatsu II heiho folder opens with a ridiculous amount of force... feels like a fish trying to jump out of your hands. it doesnt go thwack, it goes POW!!!! lol

All these votes for the Tyrade are making me think I missed out.

I do have the Offset, so that is the obvious choice for me.

My ZT 0301 opens up real smooth and snaps out with authority.
Same here, except that my ZT 0350 and (full-sized) Kershaw Cyclone are alittle quicker...My ZT 0301 still opens with a heavier "thunk" than any others.

Thank you. My original post mistakenly had one of my ZTs listed as an 0200. It's an 0400.

Well now that is funny as I was thinking that you probably meant the ZT0400! How do you like this knife? It is the only folding ZT I've never bought, and I don't know why as I love the looks.

Benchmade Barrage is amazing.

Plus one for the 580 Barrage. Plus the Barrage is the only assisted knife I'm aware of that is assisted through out it's entire range of motion. Meaning that if something interrupts the blade during its opening, once whatever blocked it is removed the blade will then resume it's assisted movement into a fully locked position.
