Im lookin for a new pack too. I had a Med ALICE and liked it ok, but didnt fit the best in the world. Im too damn big/tall for most packs. I really really like the Maxpedition Condor II but have heard its for short people. I may order it anyways and try it...dont like it I'll return it or sell it.

It is for short people. I'm a short people and it's too short for me. However, there is a trick you can do. Remove the belt that comes with it and attach a USGI fanny pack. It matches up and lowers the belt about 6 inches. Gives you some more capacity too. I put my Hennessy hammock in it. Gives you a nice wide belt and fits a longer torso.

I'm also in the market for my first bag and Iwas wondering if any of you had any experience with the 5.11 Rush series. I was thinking about the 24.

24 is a good Bob bag size. I edc the 12 and have plenty of room for everything I need. The 24 would be too big for me

No luck hunting, but I ain't giving up yet. I made fliers last night with pictures. I've already posted them at the local gas station and will post at the pawn shops Mon as well as the liquor store. The kids are going door to door for me today and I'll be checking the area dumpsters.

Did you file a police report yet? I doubt it would help anything but maybe if your knives show up. It wasnt your Camillus BK10 was it?

thanks, looks like a viable option, and gives me more room. Wonder what sorta Maxped gearbags would also ''mate-up'' like the GI bag does...

May order it and give it a try. Do like how the maxped stuff is made, seems bombproof.
