Hey Erik you got any pics of the stuff you used to do with the SCA way back when? Would love to see some of that, I got to see some demo stuff here a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty neat.

Haha. :D And, I may have forgotten to mention, that in the murder harness photos, there was a board propping me up, as I didn't want my cane to spoil the photos. ;)

On a side note, with a name like 1066vik, or the last of the vikings, we may be related, lol. My lineage is from the Vikings as well. ;)

see? can't kill family -- OTOH, we could always go a-viking and raid some other folks... :D
still got my sword & axe.

It's an absolute blast - unfortunately, I don't have any digital pics of it. I'll see if I can dig up some pictures and scan them in.

Yeah, let's do some plundering and pillaging. :D Sword and axe look sweet. ;)

So here is my project this morning. I added on to my workbench to move the benchgrinder, and enclose the craftsman cabinet that isnt real sturdy. I plan on using the extra space for a belt sander and then a drill press standing at the end. Planning anyways we will see how quick I get to it.

If you mount your drill press & belt sander to pieces of plywood, you can make them modular to maintain some working surface on the bench. leave the mounting bolts 3/4" long and match them up to holes drilled in the bench top -- hold in place with a pair of C-clamps when in use.

Better fit and finish, s35v steel, goo ergos, over built. Worth every penny of the 2 bills i paid for it. Sounds steep, but its the first $200 knife that i felt i NEEDED to get dirty. It begs to work

the only plundering i want to see around here is some good old fashioned deliverance kind. okay guys, go at it.

i'll be over there. at a safe distance. polishing my armory :)

keep it clean ;)

That is a good Idea. I don't have the sander or drillpress yet. I do have my reloading press mounted that way, but hadn't thought about it for the other tools.

Vargo TI Spork ULV

THE ACTION SPORK-

Since I got my ACTION SPORK, I've earned the envy and respect of ALL of my family members. I wear my ACTION SPORK on my belt loop so I have it with me at all times. Why, just this morning I had an engaging conversation about whether or not I could take down a hyena with my ACTION SPORK. I think I could. It's surprisingly lightweight and rigid, has a sexy finish (Sanded and Polished by me), and most importantly comes with the perfect lanyard hole. When people see your ACTION SPORK on your belt loop, they'll know you're a man of ACTION.

So far I've used the ACTION SPORK on noodles, chili and even a burrito....

Just ordered the 12cm Zebra pot. $19.98, $27.97 shipped. Best I could find.

my take from cabelas today. Used a $40 gift card. Got a magazine, waterproof matches, and the t shirt. Not that much of a waterfowl hunter but you cant beat 10 bucks for an under armour tee. The rest of the cash went to a new toy for the kid. A whitetail figurine. My 2 year old already said he wants to shoot it. Thats my boy

damn, I need to get that mag, it's got the next GEC I want on the cover....

Any of you Beckerheads have an opinion on this knife? It's been calling my name for a while now and since the tweeners won't be out in January like first thought I am haveing a hard time saying no. It is the Ontario Blackbird Sk-5. Designed by Paul Schieter of Hedgehog leatherworks.
