Ah, dry heaves how I've missed you.

Yeah, you were so ripped, I could barely understand you. Sounded like Mushmouth with a speech impediment. AND you were all "SQUIRREL!!!" every few seconds. Hope ya'll didn't bury that RBK in your leg.

Dumbasses. :D

Walking Dead was off the chain.

Now, we start season 3, we go from "How do we survive?" To, "We gotta kick some ass if we want to live!!!"

Michonne and Prison, FTW!!!

My satellite was jacked up last night due to the weather and it dosnt seem to be on VOD anyone know where I can catch last nights episode before you guys ruin it for me?

Any of ya'll actually read the comics, or am I the only Walking Dead comic reader here.

Oh, and just for the record, I read them long before the show came out. :D

Image Comics have been one of my favs since the days of Spawn and Pitt. :D

I'll admit to still owning a few hundred X-men, Avengers et al from my childhood, probably worth a fortune now...

Yeah, I still have alot of them, but "mint" condition went out with the 80's. I read mine, sometimes repeatedly. I still get into them, but who has the time. Now, I look for the novella collections and hardbacks for entire stories. I don't have time to keep up with the monthly releases, and since the Walking Dead is on primtime now, I want to get them back, since I don't have those anymore.

There are now 3 comic shops here in town, and since the WD has come on so strong on TV, the price per issue has gotten a little over the top for me, but they don't mind me perusing a few, to spark the old memory banks some.

The Image artwork style has always been a favorite of mine, although during their early days the writing was terrible. Jim Lee is hands down my favorite artist though, and so long as Liefeld isn't trying to draw shoulders, hands, or feet, he does a fine job as well. (Not counting the large breasted Captain America he subjected us to.) I have a favorite artist for each book, but my top two are Jim Lee for Batman, and Ethan Van Sciver for Green Lantern. In my opinion, no one can draw those two characters as well as those two artists.

I have a few X-men that are under plastic, especially the one where Phoenix dies and the whole Hellfire series; those might be worth selling but I just can't bring myself to.

I still have Spawn #1-25 and Pitt #1-8, under wraps.

I'll probably never sell them, I just wanted to keep them to remember when comics went dark, bloody, and edgy. There were alot of changes from Marvel/DC to the Image/Dark Horse kinds of books, that made more interesting stories, and just plain old creepy stuff.

I found Walking Dead in 2004, and started retracing to pick up the pot, and have been on and off reading the new ones when I can find them. I think they are up to #90 or something, and I don't think I've read anything past #81. Not sure. A trip to the comic shop this weekend may be in order. :D

Anyways, it finally seems like they are getting the show back on track, less drama more action, which, is a good thing. The Prison starts a whole new era, and Michonne sparks a whole new "style" of survival, which, by survival, I mean, whippin' folks ass and throwing them over the bar. :D

Anybody think that Darryl is the tv shows "Tyreese"?
