Alrighty guys I'm trying to shop for a pack.
I kinda like the maxpedition falcon II and the litespeed flexxx has.

Can someone list some pros/cons of either that they may own?

You really can't compare the two.

I would rather have one TAD Litespeed then all of Maxpedition's packs......

here's a review of the litespeed:

http://kitup.military.com/2011/06/review-tad-gears-litespeed-pack.html

i have a baby condor, which i think was $19, and it's a fantastic pack for every day stuff... size of your typical "book bag", couple compartments, i find it very useful.

picked up a condor II last year, and basically use it to store all my essential camping gear i didn't think i might need... call it a BOB, but basically it's a pickup and go camping solution for basics that i might need, but often don't (barring my stove). it's a good sized bag, and holds QUITE a lot. i'd call it worthy.

got a couple max gear slingers. would like a larger one.

mmm, got a mountain smith day pack - carries a ton. bright red. simple main compart, and very small pocket and something up top. can carry a lot, and big stuff. has some mountain loops for axes and what not. not sure you can get them anymore, but i will never sell it. good waist belt. it's more than a daypack really. you could spend a weekend with this. also have a larger full-sized pack of theirs, for a week or two easily. don't use it a lot :P

also received this year, a full size Becker patrol pack :) like brand new :) sweet. you can put a whole yak in there. awesome. i imagine i could stow a AR type rifle (if i had one :>) in a side pocket, as well as a lot of gear for a long trek. great design. way overkill :)

i hear tell of a medium size BPP, that i would like to get someday. more than most people would need.

me? i think next a falcon II or even a pygmy falcon. or both.

plus a large assortment of other random bag, packs, and stuff. they all get a job, and they hold stuff nicely. great way to organize gear.

I like the Falcon II. And I really like how it pairs with a Proteus waist pack.

Does anyone have the 511 rush 12 backpack?

I dunno but I like it. I was thinking of going two straps. I'd like to see just how big it is tho. My monsoon says 1600 cu in and the rush is only 1200 and change and I don't know if I wanna lose space. Maybe the rush 24 but that looks like It may be too bulky for an edc.

Got it about a month ago, to replace my polish 1day assault pack knockoff. Awesome Pack, perfect for school, fits an A4 binder and a few books plus drawing stuff, water and food, and various other EDC items (FAK, BK-14, flashlight, etc) perfectly. Good quality, probably the best you can get for the money.

not a fan of the sigma - and yes, i know they eventually fixed all the problems.
Unless you're getting an incredible killer deal on it, I'd check out the SD40 (M&P Lite) or the Sig P250 (I REALLY like the P250 compact!)

BK2 from Chestnut Ridge for a very competitive price (lower than Amazon) for Black Friday. Only 12 at this price. www.chestnutridgeknifeshop.com/catalog/index.php?osCsid=cc187ed31a0fbc147710e301f804e92c

Many of us have expressed dissatisfaction with this BF-supporting dealer before but ultimately you'll get your knife and that's a good price. Look for the black and red graphic that says "Black Firday Specials" (seriously) and keep hitting the banner graphic if you get a weird login screen.
