Works for me. That's an important skill.

The trick is to tie 'em loose enough so you can slip 'em on and off, then double-knot 'em so they stay that way. My time is incredibly valuable, and I save 10 or 11 hours a year not having to untie and retie 'em every dang day

So some one on the esee forum is selling a laserstrike prototype for less than a brand new one, and I'm seriously considering picking it up, any thoughts?

Got my brass back bowie in one piece. Its close enough to finished I hate to post any pics of it. Don't know if its going to be the epic piece I was wanting it to be, but I'm told that I'm to close to the project to judge. Its strange, I started that project the day I learned my oldest friend had died, every time I have worked on it, it was times I had shit weighing heavy on my mind. Guess its because this kind of work calms me. Or maybe I've got to much bad shit on my mind. LOL............. pics soon.

Its 19in. OAL. 3in. Longer than a M18. The sheath I've been working on for it even makes it look bigger yet. Biggest knife I've made so far in my career.

Almost like you're trying to over compensate for something....

Lol, no WW, I dont mind answering your question if I understood it lol. I dont know what you mean by how wide it gets, but its, 1/4in. thick. 2in. Wide. 13in. Long. Dont know if that answers your question or not.

Todd, Leo's monster bowie is, without a doubt, going to be quite the epic piece.

Thanks Jerry, your one of about 4 people that have seen it in one piece. So, if you say so. Makes me feel better.

Been working on knots this week. I've tied a four-in-hand all my life. Last week, I learned to tie a bow tie, and today, I added a half-Windsor and a Windsor to the arsenal. All I need is a haircut, a mani-pedi, and a good snuggle with Moose, and I'll be quite the dandy.
I've recently added the Etity knot and the Trinity knot. The 4 in hand is an old stand by. With the new spread collars that are becoming popular they actually designed a double windsor knot as well. It's roughly as wide as a HMMWV...

http://www.locklaces.com/ Thank me later, these will save you even MORE time!

Planning on it.
How far off of 29 are you? I'll be driving past on Wednesday next week on my way to Rapid City.

I have an LS, and I personally like it. I don't get to carry it too often because it's larger than Missouri's knife law allows however when I go hiking I have it handy. I originally only got it cause I won a giveaway from Godspeed and he gifted me a sheath for it, so I figured I'd better go get the knife :D

It totally makes sense why it calms you down! I've really started enjoying getting my hands dirty lately.

Yep that answers it.

2" wide :D

I dont know who Leo is but he is a lucky SOB.

On another note, I will be starting a puppy obedience course with Neko soon. Not because he is being bad or doing anything wrong really i just want him at the top of his game. He is great on a leash, but i want to be able to let him off the leash as well which right now is impossible, i tried it and ended up chasing him for 10 minutes through some brush... 10 minutes might not sound long but when your running after a puppy in the woods 10 minutes is FOREVER HAHA.

Also he doesnt come unless you have a treat, but if you have a treat he will come, sit, high five, and stand up on back legs and wrap his front legs around me and "hug" me.. He is VERY smart but listens when it benefits him only. I dont want to HAVE to have a treat to get him to come or sit down.

Im debating on private lessons here or going to their location.

Private lessons are more expensive, like 85-100 per lesson or hour. group courses at their location ranges from 110-160 for a 6 week course with 1 lesson per week.

But if they can teach the dog quicker and easier here since its 1 on 1 it might be more beneficial. But on the other hand the interaction with the other dogs and people would be beneficial as well. But im worried he will listen there.. but when we get home go back to the same routines.

The lady i have been speaking to is a CPDT-KA certified trainer and has a lot of great testimonials on her site for both private lessons and group training.

What is your guys opinion? Private lessons or a group setting more beneficial if price wasnt a factor?
