Did my bi-annual firearms qual for work today. Got a little bit of a sunburn all over from the neck up, including my shaved head. Tomorrow I'm going to go shoot my SA Operator that just came in from the factory so I'll have to be more careful. Gonna wear a boonie hat and maybe my shemagh to keep the sun off. I'll probably look like some SF wannabe but whatever. Beats skin cancer.
 
Ugh. Today was crazy. Stayed a few extra hours late at work in order to get a few things wrapped up.... checked my list o' crap to do and I swear it somehow grew. Oh well, it's only going to get worse before it gets better.
I'm splitting out very early tomorrow no matter what and I'm off all next week... The week after is going to bring the suck though. My boss is leaving the company for another opportunity closer to family while I'm gone on vacation. No one has been hired to take his spot yet. This, in turn, is going to add a lot of extra work as well as some instability to the company until we get everything ironed out. It also sucks a bit since I really like this boss. I've learned a lot from him and really look up to him.

OK, aside from the crazyness that is going to be my Job here soon I have A LOT to look forward to here coming up very soon..... I also have a handful or swarm, if you will, of new TM Hunt pieces in my possession that I have plans for here soon as well. ;)
 
Tomorrow I took the day off work to hang out with the female I've been pining over for the last 6 years. She is the sister of my best friend's wife... This shall either be epic or catastrophic.

Jerry, that sucks about work being a suck- storm when you get back but hell at least you get a few days off work before having to deal with it!

WW, man that BLOWS about the TV, however I would say if you don't mention the chemicals in the off chance that something happens to the TV I'd think you'd be alright.

Dubz, how bad did ya'll get nailed by the rains? Did you even get any of them or did they bypass you completely?
 
We had a fairly good down pour, and some decent winds, but nothing too bad. This weekend is supposed to be a doozy though, or so they say.

We had some high winds as well Warrior. Not much rain though were suppose to get some later today (Friday)
 
That's a bunch of crap about the paint WW. If it doesn't go your way, you might consider filing a police report. If nothing else, that's vandalism. Let the landlady know you don't think it's her fault, but that it needs to be made right. Maybe they can replace everything and take the stuff with the paint on it, if they think that's okay. Depending on the cost of the stuff, in your state, that's at least a third degree criminal misdemeanor, and possibly a second degree, which would be a pretty stiff fine and up to 2 years in jail. Since they brought in someone into your home who didn't have permission to be there, you could stack on trespass, and possibly intent to defraud, since they had someone unqualified doing the work and causing the damage. It would be far cheaper for them to just pay you a thousand or two in replacement costs for the damaged items than face the court costs, and then the jail time and damages.

I get so upset i cant think, much less talk well. All my life my quick temper and anger has been a huge problem for me, i was made go to my first anger management program at 14 or 15 and that lasted a year, i had to go 2 more times as an adult. Soon as they say something thats just dead wrong i lose it. I try to say the right thing but when im mad it doesnt go well. Its a horrible flaw and i start each day off meditating and telling myself to stay calm... But when something like this happens that i feel is just absurd its hard for me to keep calm. I have 2 options, say as little as possible, or risk losing my cool. When i lose my cool it never ends well and even if i win the argument, or fight, it ends up costing me more than it was worth. Since i got married and had kids I literally stay inside or camping in the woods with just my immediate family more than 90 percent of the time because im not good with people. When i do go into public places i have anxiety from the start because i know what COULD happen. Because something as little as someone whistling at my wife, or telling me to not spank my son on his behind when he is acting out in public can and HAS ended up with me being in hand cuffs. I suck with people.

WW, that paint situation sucks, man, Id be besides myself too. I cant even think of any sound advice, being the tiff is with your landlord, thats probably one person that you would want to remain on the good side of, but damn....... About the anger issues. well, I've had similar issues as well, there is treatment. I wont get into it here but but if you want to talk sometime, thats cool. Also, know aside from that. the older you get, the more you will learn to pick your fights so to speak. it gets better.
 
Oh, and before I forget, anybody that got a VIP pass for the Blade show coming from me..... I got them last night..........AND, Murph and 1066vik, you two assholes cost me $50. :D

I'd let you borrow Jerry, but I dont know if he will be able to keep up with me and Murph, let alone a third party........ Thats the good thing about my knife celebrity status........ I got people now.............(nose in the air) :D

Gearing up for a long day of house hunting. Let's see if we can find something that won't be a complete gut-job and costs less than a million dollars. I hate the local housing market.

Theres a couple of houses for sale in my neighborhood Gus, we would have a lot of fun as neighbors. The housing is relatively cheap here, but they make up for it and rip your guts out on health insurance.

I do think it will get better, i just hope it doesnt take much longer. I really dont mind staying away from people but i hate not being able to do everything with my wife and kids. When they are going to a theme park, chuck e cheese, movie theater, or anywhere there will be crowds most the time i have to stay home, and i have to tell my kids im sorry, daddy is too much of an asshole to go with you... Of course i dont say that exactly, but its what im left feeling.

But as far as the paint crap goes, i hope they just do what is right, like you said the landlord is not someone i want to upset. Next thing i know they will be raising my rent, not fixing the problems in the house, or tell me i got 2 months to get out and then ill really be in a jam.
