Sure has been nice to get some rain instead of snow here!! Im hoping its a sign that spring is here for good.

I'm thinking that I want to pick up a Kabar mk1 in the near future. I'm not sure why, other than I like the looks of it. I might swap it out with the 17 I keep in the bag I bring with me to work. I'm thinking about selling off a few Beckers and other knives that just don't get any use. I may as well do that and put it towards some accessories I want for my Tundra. I'm undecided whether or not I want to let go of my fpr bk10 though. All it has ever done is post for pics and cut paper.

After reading that to myself I'm thinking that maybe I don't need the mk1. :p

Thanks bud!!

And a happy birthday to the little one!!

Thanks man. It was a fun evening with family. The little one decided to take a nap at the dinner table between main course and her cake lol.

Sweet looking little blade crimson!

Got around 2 hours of sleep which is always nice. But i woke up with some crazy acid reflux and heartburn.

The only thing to blame is that big glass of milk i drank before bed... I only drank it because i ran out of pepsi.... Im not big on milk, water, juice, coffee... Or anything not pepsi or alcohol LMAO

Time to walk to the store for some more pepsi.... and time to scarf down some cayenne pepper to battle this damn acid reflux.

Milk actually counteracts stomach acid, so it must be something else. If we don't have tums I usually drink some milk and it kills the acid reflux for a while.

I also drink milk for stomach acid. Haven't drank milk in 4 months though. Bread all in all is best to soak up stomach acid when having reflux I've found.

Yea i was confused about it as i normally only get acid reflux from tomato sauces, Gatorade, lots of fried foods, or Mac and cheese ETC.

Normally not from Milk... But i hadnt eaten for several hours before bed and the only thing i drank was a BIG glass of milk, so for right now im blaming the milk.

Milk on the other hand NEVER cures any acid or stomach issues at all for me, just makes them worse. I avoid anything with dairy when i have any digestive discomfort. I always figured i was a little lactose intolerant.

My acid reflux is completely gone now. I can normally knock it out with a spoon full of cayenne mixed in some hot water. Drink it down and a few minutes later all is well. Works best in the mornings, but i have done it A LOT all times of day... Id give it an 80 % success rate for me when done in the morning times.... The success rate of it goes down if i have already eaten that morning though.

Tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water.

Always have that around here. Ill give it a try next time i get this crap. Thanks bud, thats a new one on me, I would figure the acid from the vinegar would increase the acid reflux.. Like Orange juice is one of the WORSE things for me when it comes to acid reflux and heartburn. I Never drink OJ anymore. Any juice with added citric acid causes issues for me really, but OJ is the worse.

I hear ya on the citric acid ... I like OJ and Mountain Dew but more than a small glass of either gives me heartburn anymore.

Speaking of heartburn... Happy Thirstday you lunatics!

I love how the MK1 looks. Before I got my BK 16 from Ethan for a monthly challenge, I was going to pick up a stacked leather model instead of a tweener. It's still on my radar, just not as high on the list now.

Keep the BK10 no matter what.

I used to think the same thing, but my doctor clued me in on the AC vinegar. Having the little bit of extra acid turns off the acid production in your stomach. They prescribe it daily for refluxers.
