Next time, try bringing the pins/contour/tang/profile down to the narrowest finished dimensions first and work outward from there to shape and blend the relatively soft handle material into the curves you want. It's much easier to build a sleek, comfortable handle that way. No one likes a lumpy, edgy handle.

Sil, I saw where you asked about the FFA. It's without a doubt my favorite axe. Splits like a little maul and such a handy size. If a guy could only have one axe or hatchet, this would be it.
