Apparently that thing is the ginsu knife of popup camper/trailer things! Where have they been hiding this mythical camping device?

Dang that is pretty cool, what's the price tag on it? Would eliminate a ton of stuff bit would have to travel on the first two lanes on the freeway here in California...

I think it starts around $8,500. Too much for my blood...

It is pretty cool, but, like most things that are cool, pricey.

There's something wrong with that picture... perhaps the epoxy wasn't cured or you generated way too much heat. Or maybe there was too much slop around/between the pins and the tang holes? Stuff shouldn't wander around like that. I apologize for sounding like a nit-picky SOB... I don't mean to be a bastard, I'm honestly trying to help. I'm just a geek about that sort of thing :o

Yeah, I think the epoxy didn't cure right. I ended up steaming it off and acra-glassing the sucker. Cause I'm nitpicky also...

The last thing I want to be is the first nincompoop you ban. Let me know if you prefer pickles, beans, salsa, soup stock or hot sauce, and where to send 'em. (that's right, I am not too proud to attempt blatant bribery) :D

It'll probably be me. I got banned from the chatroom for not logging out, after all.

Well, maybe you're an.... never mind :p

I got scolded once for logging in and out of D's Becker chatroom. I was just checking in on my breaks to see who was geferflummutting*, but it caused irritation for the folks who actually run the thing.

Chat programs are weird, and frankly they're a tremendous pain in the neck for the people who have to operate them. Several years back I owned and operated a pretty popular mIRC channel, and I will say this much... just keeping up with it was much more trouble than it was worth. Never mind the humans who actually used it...

*geferflummutting is not a real word. I totally made that up :D

This thing is pretty bad ass:

At first I was like "So it's a tent I have to tow?" Then I saw the rest of the video. Makes sense, kinda cool. Not for me but I can see the interest for something like that.

That's nearly 3x what I paid for the most expensive truck I've ever owned. My '93 S10 cost me $1700 and hauls everything I need and I just throw a tarp over the bed and sleep there.

I don't have a wife and a family so I like to be minimalist when I go camping. If I ever have a family hopefully they'll be foolhardy enough to really rough it with me. Probably not though. I still ain't buying some big fancy apartment size "camping" trailer. That's not camping and they are too much hassle.

Wife's dad gave this Optimus stove to her a few months ago. I decided to get it out and fire it up. Works good. It has the handle for the lid/sauce pan, but I didn't show it in the photo. Not sure how old this one is, but the price tag says $26, so pretty old, haha:

I use to have a 96 s10. I put one of the hard top tonneau covers on the bed of it and then i kept a mattress and cooler in the back ALWAYS.. Before marriage, kids and all that. It was my party wagon.

My daughter and her husband have one. It's incredibly badass. Pricey, yes but they camp with their kids all the time so they get their money's worth. (I guess :D)
They have had issues with the windows and Kelty sent a rep to fix them.

One more knock against that trailer, anything that allows yuppies to go camping in a mini cooper is not a good thing.

I'm good with what tent I have for that price.

So dunno if you guys know this about me but I'm a call of duty junkie and I love playing zombies, there is a point in the game where you can upgrade your weapon with a pack-A-punch machine which gives your weapon a unique pattern and upgraded ammo.. so here is my take on a pack-A-punched 710 Split. I made the pattern freehanded for 3 hours then scratched the pattern off for another 3 hours with a sewing needle and etched and buffed with 1500 grit. I got a handle idea and hopefully it works.

Ok so does getting the "I love you man's" mean I am drunk ? or did my wife slip birth control pills in my beer ?

:) I get most my pictures from the same page, the same guy is posting them. I cant share them all. Not all real family friendly.

But he does post some great pictures every few hours or so. and they go back for a year or so.

Ever notice that women will watch the clerk ring up all their groceries, wait for the clerk to tell them the total and THEN start fishing out the checkbook, then fill out their check register with a paragraph of explanation followed by re-pursing and various adjustments before they leave half their shit on the counter?
