Has anyone here ever got their sciatic nerve pinched in their pelvis? Holy crap this hurts. I had an MRI a few days ago and will be back at the doc next week to find out what the hell is going on. I sure would like to hear if anyone has recovered without surgery. I have had a crushed vertebrae and 3 herniated discs for the last 19 years and that pain is nothing compared to this. My leg feels like its in a vice. Breaking my leg 3 years ago hurt less than this.

Stop on by again, and have my wife take a look. She might be able to fix that for free for you with some osteopathic manipulation.

Got a box coming in from Australia today, a buddy helped me out with getting my wife some winter sheepskin boots from over there. But They are suppose to be her Xmas present so I got to hide them good! LMAO I bet I could put the box in the middle of her 1000 boxes of shoes and she would never know.

I always start Xmas shopping about now, I only get paid once a month so I have to plan everything ahead and a lot of the best stuff is gone by december so im on the ball already. By december im getting the rest of the stuff off the internet.

But Im thinking of getting my son one of the cold steel trainer swords as one of his toys... all the toy knives and swords break so easy, and they bend the first time he hits a tree or pole with it, I think the trainers should be way more durable. Any of you guys have any experience with the trainers knives or swords? any company.

Are you guys planning ahead yet? What kind of stuff you guys have in mind for the kids?

I know im getting my son a new train track set, he loves his old one but its kind of small, The one im looking at now is huge and comes on a table with drawers built in and the table flips over for more games and stuff.

And he wants a robot LMAO so im going to look for a remote control robot, he wants a big lifelike robot but he is just going to have to settle LMAO, he thinks he can get one like off the movie "real steel"... yea right.

My daughter is a tough one, im letting momma handle that!! I want to get her ears pierced... the girl is 7, no reason not to of had her ears pierced a long time ago, but momma says not until her handwriting improves LMAO.... mean momma!!! my handwriting is horrible, if the girl takes after me she is going to have to wait until she can go on her own LMAO

I don't know for sure. It's entirely possible. They can do a lot that MD's would want to operate on. My wife managed to restore range of movement and virtually eliminate pain and soreness in my colleague's neck, which she'd had issues with for 6+ months following a skiing accident. For Mauser's pinched nerve? That's pretty likely fixable without surgical intervention, and OMT is head and shoulders above chiropractic in my experience. Not everything is fixable, of course. But it's probably worth a consult, before you do something irreparable like surgery to your body.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I really appreciate it. Crimsonfalcon, thank you! I will get a hold of you soon.

The weather is finally starting to turn and that means more hiking and camping with the fam fam and my lovely Beckers. I don't really like the southern summer heat. WW; not sure what your budget is but Lego Mindstorms just came out with their EV3 package. That's about as Roboty as you can get without actually building from scratch. (Wowee toys makes some fun prebuilt cheap ones as well)
How is everyone doing? I have not been keeping up as much as I should.

The robo-sapien stuff is pretty clever too. (designer is a genius - used to work below his lab when I was just out of school)
How about an OpenROV kit?
googley.

That lego one is bada$$, I was already looking at the wowee ones but thats awesome, thanks for the heads up!!

Those better be coolers for the beer. I have to agree though. that thing is awesome. Even though a pontoon boat would probably work out better.

It needs accessories. This accessory is called "Fun with Scraps".
I was tweaking the birudashi opener geometry a bit on a piece of 1084 scrap. Well.... then it needed heat treat *of course*, and a handle...
