Last night was a less than great night at casa de Derek, but I got through it. Today I am stuck in a meeting for four hours, but after that I should be around a good bit more. Thanks for all the grats folks, now I get to help out a little more around here and that's just fine by me, this place is home.

all y'all might notice a Backer Patrol Pack "on the bay", but it looks ... wrong somehow.

in fact... it looks like thin shiny nylon, SMALL, and even the buckles seem off. don't see "Eagle" on it either.

so, you know, watch out.

I have a black BPP and comparing mine to that it does look odd. The Alice webbing is spaced different, Doesn't have the suede sections on the shoulder straps are not there and the sternum strap is different. The drawstrings on all my BPP are 550 cord and the one in question is not 550 cord.

I am sure if I look hard enough I could find more differences.
