Sounds like it might storm in South Dakota on Friday!! We are actually forecast to get some of that crap to except they are saying it might be in the form of snow. Kinda early for that crap, but it'll be gone within a day or two.

Thanks guys, No I didnt carve them, WillyDigger here on the forum made it all... Wish i could say i did LMAO. The beads are made of Bocote wood and the flashlight is a streamlight nano. I just ordered 50 extra batteries for it for 5 bucks... I thought that price was retarded good LMAO lets see how long they last though LOL

That's a pretty fair price. Derek tells me the batteries usually cost more than the light itself.
 
Yes.. I seen a 4 pack for 7 dollars and I was like oh this is going to suck LMAO But I looked at the river store and seen them in bulk for cheap. No idea the quality of them but the reviews look pretty good.
 
Cool beads. Looks like the lanyard/necklace thingy goes through the helmet bead and a loop of some sort on the light? :thumbup:

Just got to chat with Ethan for the first time. You've all heard it before, but I'll say it again: he's one heck of a nice guy. I learned a lot from our conversation, which was very interesting, and got to chat about a wide variety of different topics. Thanks to Uncle E for everything! I definitely need to make it out to the Gathering at some point, maybe next year, to meet him and the rest of you in person.

I think it would be cool to do. I can see how a few bad apples could easily derail a thread with such good intentions though.
It's just cool to see people putting up different things and being cool about giving.

You have a point, the blade alone is worth the package price. But it's a little easier to complain when you slice you finger open the first day of a camping trip. I put a wicked edge on it with the worksharp too, dang lucky it didn't slice into a tendon or something. Just gotta be really careful until I can whip up something better.

Trying to use Coleman butane/propane mix with river store. Gas doesn't flow unless i remove the bottom gasket from the stove.

Is this normal/safe or do I have a defective can?

The stove is fine because I have 2 of them and its the same on both.

all y'all might notice a Backer Patrol Pack "on the bay", but it looks ... wrong somehow.

in fact... it looks like thin shiny nylon, SMALL, and even the buckles seem off. don't see "Eagle" on it either.

so, you know, watch out.
