yup - he thinks circular sawblades have a directional linear grain structure and that's why knife blades made from them might break.
The sheath does suck, but the whole rig only cost like $15-20, so hard to complain. I thought about having a leather on made for it, but hard to justify the expense for such a cheap blade.I love the marbles camp cleaver. Works pretty well even when dull (which happens somewhat quickly, being it's a machete with a lower hardness). The marbles sheath sucks though. Cut my pinky pretty good because the sheath allows a small section of edge to be exposed.
