Official "Move Your Butt" Becker Point Challenge Thread

Took the family to San Francisco today - usually a great opportunity for walking. Sadly, time was running short and certain individuals just weren't up to it. So I only got a mile in.
BP = 1 for a total of 4.
 
Today is one of my two rest days of the week, no running. I did walk about 3km (a little under 2 miles) out to the beach to watch yabusame (horseback archery), but I'm not going to count that.
 
Walked 2 miles today. More, probably but Runkeeper crashed halfway the first mile and I only noticed when I got back to the car.
Total BP until now: 14.91
 
Waked my four miles today and then helped someone move. Now I have a total of 8 Becker points and 1 Brownie point. :)

I live in the 650. I should wear my Beckerhead shirt when I'm out and about more often and hope to get spotted :P
 
Essentially ran a 10K this morning. 6.2 miles at a comfortable pace (just less than 9 min/mile).
I think I'm starting to figure out "lactate threshold" and get a feel for it.

Splits were encouraging. I had plenty of power left at the end and was running comfortably.

Hit the 10K mark and then walked the .6 miles back in the rain at a brisk clip. Everytrail'ed the walking part...

So...

6.2 miles running, and .6 miles of fast-paced walking = 6.8 miles or 6.8 Becker Points.

6.8 BP to date.

3rd day into it and i'm still sick as a dog in bed...guess i'm going to have a lot of make up miles to do :(
 
Oooh, I like runkeeper's mobile interface. I have to go to the website of map my run to get split info.
 
Another dog walk this evening. Put in 2.88 miles, for a running total of 5.63 Becker Points.
 
Walked 3 miles yesterday, 3 more with the dog today. This is great motivation for me. Currently training up to try out for the local search and rescue team. Used to be a firefighter, so I'm excited about this.
 
11/16/2013 jogged 3.24 miles and cooled down with a nice walk for 0.38 miles for a total of 3.6 Becker Points. Scheduling runs is going to be harder than I initially thought.

11/17/2013 jogged 4.52 miles and cooled down with a walk for 0.53 miles for 5 Becker Points.

Points to date = 8.6 Becker Points
