MoS with a choil??? What made you go for the 5.1?

Love the colors. Nice work, man!

Was waiting for someone to call me on it ! Haha. Honestly I got it because 1. It was a great deal on a BNIB 5.1. 2. They're not gonna be around in that style much anymore, 3. I can swap the scales with my current 5 and 2 6's & lastly.. It's like S! History in a way. I want a bit of everything I guess.

Makes sense to me. There's no such thing as a bad SURVIVE!

Then he starts to use it and realizes that there is no knife better than a 5.1... That the choil makes the knife a jack of all trades.

I've used plenty with choils and they just don't help me in any way so they're a waste of edge real estate in my book

Tis the season!

Ok ok, so I didn't cut the tree down with my 5. But I do have to say after a morning of using my 5 with my laplander I'm confident that if i was dropped off in the wilderness with only these two tools, I'd be able to cut and process quite a few frasier firs.

BLASPHEMY!!

Just kidding. To each their own. That is why Guy makes 5s, 5.1s, and 6s, and 7/7s

I have my current lineup fairly well organized, but I am now thinking when the 5.1's hit, I will need to had that lil monster to the open spot, and might move the 4.1's down and the neckers up once the wife's 3.5 shows up. Part of the idea behind using pegboard is flexibility when the lineup changes, I still need to get the thing cincealed, but that likely wont happen for a week or two:

I also ordered a spare 5.0 sheath so I could more cleanly mount it without the giant pouch. When I ordered that, I also "threw in" one of the horizontal 4.1 scout sheaths as well. I love my sagewood dangler but thought if i wanted to carry my 4.1 and a larger knife for whatever reason, I'd need options...
