I like this knife even more with the scales on....dang...I'm gonna have to sneak a few into the private stash!! :eek:

VERY nice!

Would it be possible to only order the skeletonized version now, and add scales later? I'm already stretching the bank to get the plain version, but would really like to get some scales later on. Could I just send the knife back to you at a later time to put them on? Thanks

I think I agree Dan, I might have to send in some more money for some scales.... I am such a sucker for green micarta.
 
Arrrghhhh!!!!!!!! Now I dont know if I want red g10, green micarta, or just skeletonized!!! Crap!!!

Best bet would be to order skeletonized for now....and then when funding shows up...."upgrade". (Am I ok in recommending this Kevin & Brian?)

As long as you do the upgrade before I start knocking out the handled-versions....you'll be ok. Otherwise.....after those are done...pricing goes back to standard ($50 + materials). :eek:

Good to hear! When do you estimate you'll finish doing the handled-versions and the price will go up? Is that basically when all of the knives have been ordered/made and you're back to doing your own stuff....so you'd have to make the scales from scratch?

I just saw this thread. How many have you sold and can I still get one?

ETA: Ah, I just read further in the OP. I see that there's still room in the order list. I'm in for one with the Red G10 scales.

I'll send payment as soon as I can get a money order.

GUys, get your money orders in -- there's still a few left...but now that pics have been posted, the momentum is really ramping up and we expect them to go fast!
 
OK, I'm heading out the door to mail to Kevin Estela, who lives in Connecticut, a money order made out to Dan Koster who lives in Arkansas. How weird is that?
 
Ok, I'm sold!! Have a bit of xmas money...had a bit of xmass money :) Money order in the mail tomorrow morning first thing...unless I risk being late for work and getting it today......hmmm.
