Official W&SS Koster Neck Knife Order Thread

Custom / Special sheath that is an extra cost option for this knife as Dan mentioned above. Per Dan, they will be done after the knife run if anyone wants one.

Now below:
The "Standard sheath" that is included with the W&SS neck knife.

Very functional I might add.... I have this "Standard" sheath for other knives from Dan. You will not be dissapointed with it in any way. :thumbup:

I'll talk to Kevin & Brian about it - seems like there was a misunderstanding - very likely on my part.

teacher - please edit your post to remove the info - so that there is not further confusion. I will get an answer to this as soon as possible.

Dan, with all due respect.... Post #142 did not cause any confusion... it only brought any confusion to light.

Therefore, any confusion should be put to rest.... soon, hopefully. :thumbup:

I also doubt it will cause any further confusion at this point and to edit it would only be "backing up"....... and make people wonder what was edited out. :thumbup: :)

Teacher, I hope you can forgive us, but Kevin and I were the ones who screwed the sheath thing up, not Dan! After a flurry of emails, we just plain got it wrong. Dan actually told us that loop sheath is an upgrade, not included, but the simple kydex sheath IS included. Dan, thanks for being humble about it, but the mistake was by us, not you.

There's a lot of labor involved in the making of those sheaths, and Dan usually sells them for $35-45 a pop extra.

To help Dan, Kev and I agreed to handle the monies for him so he could concentrate on the knives to deliver them sooner than later. For the record, Kev and I are NOT making any money on this venture, we just wanted to see it through and help however we could.

I just hope that you can forgive a newbie mistake in knife selling by your friendly neighborhood moderators. We just plain got it wrong. Dan's emails to us bear this out.

You guys are doing alot of work to get this project done for all of us. I think this project is coming out great and your updates on progress have been very prompt. Thank you very much.

All I was looking for was an answer that made sense to me, cause it was very unclear.. to me anyway.

I was just gonna' ask till I understood. ;)

I rethought this and edited Post #142 to reflect the answer that was given today.

I just sent payment via PayPal for a micarta handled version.
I just realised that there was no option to change shipping fee (I'm international).
Should I send the extra $20 to Dan through Paypal again?
 
Just paypal'ed the funds to Dan for a second knife. This one is naked (no slabs).

Another one down... Now make them already! :)
 
Great looking knife. Mailed my money order Saturday. I wish I had seen the Paypal option first. It would've been much easier. Ordered the knife with red g10 option. Can't wait for these.
