Thanks guys! That little Toyota Corolla was worth the payments for sure.
Glad to hear they are alright, sorry that guy survived to get arrested. I have less than zero tolerance for people that knowingly endanger other people's lives for the sake of alcohol.Wife and daughter were in a vehicle accident yesterday evening. Everyone walked out of it just fine. The wife has minor bruising and soreness from the seat belt and airbags. Erin was in her car seat and was more scared of my wife's screaming than the violence of action. The guy that caused the accident was booked for OWI on the spot.
I will hate on a lot of things Asia does. However making cheap safe cars is one thing they do well! The Corolla is definitely one of the better ones! Did you get pictures of the crash? It might be worth it to send them to Toyota. Write up a li'l sob story to go with it.Thanks guys! That little Toyota Corolla was worth the payments for sure.
This! That's scary Murph. Glad they're okay.
My corolla was my second vehicle. Mt first was an E-250 conversion van converted for hauling 2 wheelchairs. Which is what I learned to drive on. I ended up killing my Corolla by downshifting into 3rd at 80.Yea them are some tough little cars Murph. A Toyota Corolla was my first real car.... I actually had a car before that but i only got to drive it a couple times so i dont count it... But i got into several wrecks in the toyota and it held up great. Even when i finally totaled it out the engine still started right up and purred.... But the entire body was ruined, it had a broke axle and went half way underwater.....I totaled it out in the 2nd year i owned it.. I got it with 2 miles on it. Brand new. I drove it a LOT and put a lot of miles on it in a short time but that engine still had a lot of life in it. Good cars for sure.
I just dressed up for a little girl's tea party, including sports coat, bowtie, wingtips, the works.

In other news, Santa came yesterday afternoon and brought Ang's new hammock and accessories, a boonie hat for me, a little LED lantern and... a 10" Lodge dutch oven.![]()
