Glad the family is ok Murph. That can be a lot of emotional trauma even when the bodies aren't broken.

Now we need pics of said boonie hat!!! Being worn or not, that is your choice LOL

I'm sure there will be pics this weekend.

As long as I'm sober enough to not cook in the boonie hat and wear the dutch oven on my head, we should be good to go.

Either way you'll have a great weekend :D Neck may be a little sore the next day, but the everlasting stories, and viral pictures, will make it worth it!!

Good to hear everyone was ok murph, I still remember the first accident I was in, suburban flipped upside down, still remember hanging upside down from my cat seat having no idea what just happened.

Anyone ever held a Brous SS Ranger or other similar model of his? Is it comfortable in the hands to you??

I was offered a new one in trade for the folder, Im still considering it. at first i was a little worried the handle would be too small... But after looking at a bunch of google images it looks like its a bigger knife that the Candiru. Still size doesnt equate to comfort. It looks like a cool knife though.

I read a bunch of reviews that all say its comfortable... Im a little skeptical about that though..... Id like a Beckerheads opinion if any ever held one...

I haven't held one but I've been looking at them a lot lately. I think I might like to get one.

beckerhead hat on the back deck in 5min.

Yea i think they look cool. And D2 is also some good steel, same thing as the folder im trading.

This is the one the guy has to trade, its the V1. I like it better without the guard like what is on the V2... And it does look like it could be comfortable on this video.

Well i think im going to give it a try and see how it works out. I think it looks really cool, and i like this version without the guard much better.

We shall see!!!

I am not a lawyer or "chicken little," but I'd have a concern here in Texas.

Texas includes "knuckles" as a prohibited weapon. In the Texas Penal Code, knuckles is defined as any instrument that consists of finger rings or guards that are made of a hard substance and are used for the purpose of inflicting serious bodily injury or death. Using the two finger grip with both fingers inside the rings would seem to create a set of knuckles. If I were to carry such a knife and use it in self defense, there would be a chance that using "knuckles" in addition to a blade might result in a more negative "involvement" with law enforcement. Your state laws may differ, but I would stick to a more conventional blade here in Texas.

Good point bud, ill do some more looking into it. The rings are not intended for the purpose of inflicting injury or death..... i dont believe, but im also not a lawyer and dont want to have to argue against one.

Glad everyone's okay, Murph. Scary!

On a completely unrelated note,
A text conversation I thought I was having with my wife actually went to the710. Looks like I didn't put anything too incriminating in there. Hope he had a good laugh!

2.5 miles today with a 35.6# ruck after the gym. I wish I could have done ruck marches in tennis shoes back in the day.
Got all 6 bricks wrapped up so I can stop stealing my wife's Reebok weights.

I think it was WW that suggested Red vs. Blue on Netflix. That chit is hilarious.

Red vs. Blue is pretty hilarious. It's been out for a long time.

Nope it wasnt me, Cbear maybe.

Im not normally into animated shows but i think i may have to give this one a try now.
