Just got this in the mail. It is very thin and slicey. I can't imagine how good his kitchen knives are.

My first tapered tang as well.

It has a nice patina on it already from the previous owner.

Great knife James!

That's awesome. I'll bet that is a slicey beast

On a side note, I close on the cabin in the morning. Damn anxiety is setting in, haha.

Spike, I always thought those were neat.

A while back, I dug an old grill grate from my folks shed, cleaned it up and cut it down a bit. Worked like a charm for years over coals with a few rocks. Not really sure what happened to it.

Evening, folks... Its a nice one outside here. Just got back from a walk. I'm sitting on my balcony, fondling my new sharp thing and sipping a local IPA.

Thats pretty neat looking spike!!

I wonder how durable it would actually be, and how much heat it would take before it starts warping though.

Giving a trial run to a potential new family member. This is Rupp, a Belgian Malinois. I fell in love with the breed after seeing them while on deployment and have wanted one ever since. She will be going through train to help with our son who is Deaf and possibly search and rescue training so we can volunteer with the local S&R Team here in the Bluegrass. Pretty excited!

Congrats man, at least with a sweet get away like that your anxiety will go away ;)

I hear ya. I'll be fine in the morning once I get going down the road. We already have the car packed, and are leaving at 6am.

New steel today! Wait.....

WHAT HAVE I DONE?!

Cool blade, eh? I have one, but honestly, I've only used it a few times. Really like how slicey it is though. When I decide to thin down the herd, I will be keeping that one.

Finished, what do yall think? Trying out some new handle materials.

That's crazy man. Love those scales. Excellent work as always my friend.
I always like to see your designs. Innovative and creative. Good stuff!

Yup, its the one you gave me at becker west. Did u see the finished out?

I could tell it was my old BK2 by those sweet pit marks on the stamp side.
I've missed that knife....
I'm so stoked I won The Gunyons giveaway! BK2 inbound! Hooray!

Great looking pup JM! I'd guess he's close to a year old. So he'll fill out but not get much taller. I hope he works out for you. Belgian Malenois are incredibly intelligent and loyal.
