malinois are great dogs - very smart.
grilliput is a cool concept, but I'm not impressed -- I got one for x-mas a couple years ago, and it does work, but it also warped when used over a wood fire.
 
Ha! I pulled up the pic of 710's 2 on my phone and my first thought was that he made a handle out of mealworms. Still kind of looks like it on the big screen. Good looking either way.

So far so good. I'm anxious to get out and use it some. It kind of fits in right between the necker and the 16. I'm not terribly sure how much use it'll get though after my Magua returns with its new pants.
 
i was looking into getting a three when i go to SMKW later this month, but i cant decide between getting that, a laser strike, a bk16 or a sharp maker

All nice choices, but you'll thank yourself later when you get the Sharpmaker. One of the best investments I've ever made. I would definitely recommend the diamond rods to accompany it though.

I had a sharpmaker, I sold it and got a KME. Yes it was almost double the price but it's SUCH a better sharpener (IMO).

thats what i was leaning towards, especially since all i have right now is a $12 set of arkansas stones and a no name set of ceramic rods, they work and i can get a razor edge on my knives, but its a pain in the butt sometimes, and it takes awhile

Fondle them all and more. Then afterwards you can make an informed decision to get the 16. :D

SMKW is a lot of fun. I dropped in a few months ago. I only made one impulse purchase there, but it could have ended a lot worse.... Especially since they just start a tab for you and you pick it all up at checkout.

Wow, thanks again fellas for the concern and well wishes! I told the girls, they say thank you as well. Here's some pix from when we went to the body shop today to clean out the car. Nothing too dramatic looking I suppose.

Thanks! Yeah, she's actually about 7 months old. I hope she works out too. I love her to death, but my wife is a hard sell.
 
Glad they are all ok Murph. Be sure and grab the racks off the top before they total it.
 
Yeah I was getting them for my knives, there was a guy selling set for $10 that I was thinking of getting, unfortunately I don't have a gnome repo in my town :(

Probably. How many keys are we talking about, and how many of them do you actually need? As with most tools, it mostly depends on how much you'll use them, and how long you want them to last.

The nice thing about hex keys is, as long as you don't completely twist 'em off, you can dress the faces as they get worn several times.
