No argument here. Cats can be absolutely cold-hearted... but total sweethearts at the same time. Frankly, I admire that in a way.
Slippy (the one who skinned the bunny alive just for kicks, or as I prefer to call it, "practice for armageddon") also stood guard over my daughter every night after I tucked her in, and wouldn't let anyone but me near her. To this day, she's a total cuddly lovey-dovey kitten to me and my kid, but it has taken four solid years for her to get to the point where she's gotten used to my wife and is actually semi-friendly to her (and my dear wife is about the kindest-hearted human you could ever hope to meet, and certainly no stranger to rescuing and caring for neglected critters).
Someday I'll tell the whole story of how Slippy came to be part of my world,,, suffice to say, she was a badly-abused rescue off the mean streets... and a couple previous women demanded, "it's me or that damn cat!"
That damn cat is still here with me![]()
Thanks man.Thats awesome man!!! Becker gathering at warriors house!!
I got an itch, its turning into a rash... I need to buy a new knife or take a shower..
Congrats Warrior!!
Really awesome, and your pictures only show a very small part of the land, you have a bunch more room to play in too!!! I can only imagine how excited you are right now!!
HAHA, that cat is trying to keep women away from you LOL...
Well, it's officially mine. Went and closed on it today. Just took about 15 minutes.
Thanks man, appreciate it. Can't wait to get back. It's so serene back there. I live a block and a half from the railroad tracks, and hearing it go by all the damn time drives me up a wall. At the cabin, couldn't hear anything but the birds chirping, that's it. All the music one needs. Well, besides rock and metal, haha.Looks like a blast, Warrior, have fun![]()
That is AWESOME!!!! Congrats. Hard to believe you came back to civilization.
I think I found my new favorite show, sons of anarchy is extremely good, also got an email from Eli, my sheath is in the mail, can't wait
Thanks man. Needs very little to make it look good. Paint mostly.Congrats on the cabin, Dubz! It looks awesome!
Thanks man. All we been talking about, is what we can do to it. Fun talking about.Congrats on the cabin Dubz! I'm sure you're stoked and can't wait to put your own personal touches on it. Bet you have a thousand ideas on how to make it your own. And "unexplored" property, well that's just a bonus!

I completely understand. I really do not like street/urban noise. Also, I bet looking up at the night sky without light pollution is gonna be a treat there...
Well, it's officially mine. Went and closed on it today. Just took about 15 minutes. The previous owners were great people, and came back to the cabin with us, and sorta showed us around. They stayed for a bit, then we celebrated with champagne, then ate a meal. Then, it was work time.
Ah yes, she's mine:
