One of my dogs ran away last night. She usually comes back after a few hours, but not this time. Honestly, I wish somebody just took her, only because of the amount of rain we got last night, and coyotes running around from the forest preserve a few blocks away. (both of our dogs are chiuauas, and weigh no more than 25 lbs). My other dog's hasn't even moved sense last night. :(

TBL you need to make a bacon shirt and sit in the sun till it hardens and, while wearing the bacon shirt, go to the store to buy more bacon. I think that's what I would do. Only because it's not very often you get 11lbs of bacon at one time so this really would be the only opportunity to do said task. Maybe I shouldn't buy bulk bacon.

Starting to take an interest in pipe smoking. Anything I should know before I dive in? Seems sort of like tea with all the different blends and intricacies associated with the task.
 
Got my Brous Blades SS Ranger V1 in today. Came super sharp and looks awesome.

But honestly there is only 1 way you can hold this thing where it is comfortable. And even then you wouldnt want it to be your only knife if your doing a lot of cutting. But for normal knife task like opening boxes or packages from the store, even cutting a steak, it will work very well. Its actually a little bigger in hand than i expected. And has a very slicey blade.... It goes on my belt but the clip is a little small so my normal size belt doesnt really fit all the way in the clip... But it still holds it on well because the clip is very stiff. I can actually just clip it right to my jeans and bypass the belt completely.

Anyways... Its a cool blade with a great sheath... The price for them are a little steep for the size IMO but i guess you have to pay for that Brous name. All in all im happy with the trade. If we did it in person and i got to hold the knife and see it face to face first.. I still would of traded the Benchmade folder for the Brous Ranger... BUT if i was in the store and held one and had to pay for it... I would have passed.

Pretty nice looking knife if anything.

On a sort of unrelated/related note: I went to the local GS today to look at a Sig P938 scorpion model. It comes with a neck holster that holds the barrel of the pistol pointed at your chin.......................Who the F&$% came up with that design and can I please have their job?

All I have to say is, if I didn't put the solar cover on my pool the other day, my dog would still be alive...:(:thumbdn:

A friend just sent me some seasoning called "HATE Dust" This stuff is AWESOME. It taste great but is really spicy so a little goes a long way.

Its also knife related, Knife maker J Horton is one of the partners and all the money made from HATE dust goes to charity.

It was talked about on another forum, but here is a link to a little info about it... I think its only sold certain times a year though, and is done strictly for charity.

There is nothing for sale at this link, its only a little info about some seasoning... But if for any reason this link is in any kind of rule violation just let me know and ill remove it...

Nice. WW mind sending me a link of where I might procure some of that fine spicy mix? A google search only clued me in to the fact that I've been dusting my entertainment center the wrong way all these years.

I had wanted to buy some myself before but was told on another forum that its only sold certain times a year and mostly at knife shows and stuff, if you check the link at the bottom of my post about it there is a little more info, but thats all the info i got on it honestly. A couple cool chicks from another forum sent me some of theirs so i could try it out.

Hah, Tanker. A T-shirt of bacon sounds good, but too much work. I would rather just fry it up and eat it.
 
Sorry to hear about the pooch DJ.....

Family barbecue is still going on. Already switched from beer to rum. Time for them to clear out as far as I'm concerned or I'm going to have to switch to gasoline!
