All whole foods contain protein. For instance spinach. A delicious vegetable that has a nice amount of protein and can also be easily composted.

I always kept dairy and meats out of compost though, and i would limit how much sweet fruit id throw in sometimes because of ants.... But humans should be pretty easy to compost.... Except maybe the bones.... Ground up it should be no problems though

:D

Just keep Hogs, and feed em to the hogs.

I was thinking about driving a little ways south and hitting this BBQ joint that's supposed to be really great. The areas I like to hike and play around in are down around that way so I guess I'll go for a hike and then grab some food.

Grab me on the way bud, ill buy lunch and then we can hit the trails.... Afterwards we can stop by one of those little shops that Colorado is known for :D

Found this little guy trying to hide on my back porch the other day. He was maybe slightly bigger than a quarter. Thats a SAK classic in the picture for scale. We have a pond a couple blocks away from the house but I am not sure how such a little guy ventured so far. Thinking maybe something picked him up and dropped him off. Anyways took him back to the pond where hopefully he could live to fight another day.

When the wife and I went on a short trip for our anniversary we went to a place called turner falls for a day. Its basically like a natural water park with camping and hiking. It has a natural large creek with falls in it that runs the length of the park and they let everyone swim and such in it. I saw a kid with one of those small plastic aquarium things with about half a dozen of baby snapping turtles in it.

On second thought, I just checked my bank balance. Didn't have as much $ as I thought and I still have to pay for those Hunt knives I've got on the way and buy groceries. That and I'm leaving for Oregon in a few weeks so I think that will have to wait for another day.

I'll be cheering for you, man, but I think you need more than Wheaties to bulk up enough to beat Dan. Have you considered cheating?

HAHAHAHA :D

Im going to saw around the 2X4 until there is only a little splinter left holding it together and then fill in the saw groves with a saw dust mud mixture so it only takes one little swing to get through it....

Wait... I mean NO, i havent thought about cheating LMAO!!!

If you seen any of the True Blood series you should check out the "False Blood" parody on youtube. Its funny. NSFW.

Hey WW, when is the bladesports competition you are competing in? What are you doing for training?

Freakin' awesome, eh?

Just got back from devouring a double Krekel with bacon, cheese, and grilled onions. Damn that was good.

Yeah, this stove will go on a lot of trips with me.

Got any tips on cleaning it in the field? Thinking about picking up some scotch brite pads to help remove some of the build up on the stove and pot before I put them back in my pack.

That emberlit looks like a nice setup!

Hmmpff, been having frequent headaches the last couple of months. Getting real tired of this.

Scotch brite pad is what I use on mine. Sometimes just a damp bandanna or paper towel will do the trick well enough to wait until I get back.

I've just sort of dusted mine off, then cleaned it when I get home.

Checked my trail cam today.

One of these may look good in the freezer this fall...

Im gonna definitely try the scotch bite pads on my emberlite.

Cooper, I would be super stokked if I saw that on my game cam. Hope you bag them this winter. I used to love deer hunting and had one of the best places in Indiana to do it. Killed a lot of deer on my father-in-laws land. No more though. He lost the farm, been some hard years on that side of the family.

Speaking of witch. Just got done with my little family gathering that was stressin me out YESTERDAY. Turns out. On the trip to our house. My father-in-laws SUV chucked out a coil spring on the left rear and it was collapsed on the axle. He drove it almost 200 miles that way. Not wanting to send him home that way, he spent the night here and my brother-in-law and I, took his car out to his shop and jacked it up and put a spring from his race car in it. Of coarse, while doing that we severed a corroed and crushed brake line. Once we replaced that of coarse the bleeders where corroded up and broke off. One pain in the ass after another. Just got it all done and fixed for him to drive home. My whole weekend shot........... no knife work done.:grumpy:
