what brand is it?
river store probably has them, handful of "local" places might as well.
google "replacement brushes for mybrand circular saw"

there are 2 replacement part websites that probably have them - and a schematic showing how to check the old ones.

Congrats!

Thanks Gmoney!!

In other news...

This couldn't have happened at the worst possible time. I'm pretty sure my head gasket is blown in my goldwing. I'm moving this weekend and have no time or parts to fix it. So much for moving everything this weekend.

Well, that blows (sorry couldn't resist).

I am impressed that you were going to be able to move using a motorcycle though.

I typically require at least a pickup truck.

You store your planes on the blades rather than their sides?!?! Doesn't that cause 7 years bad luck?

Snark...:D

Looks like a nice shoppe!

well, one can retract the blades ya know...

or if you look close, one will note two 3 inch x 5 foot boards that each plane sits on, letting the blade not touch nothing

Honestly the last few times we've moved it's required an 18 wheeler.

It should be a crime to own this much stuff.

But it's definitely a crime to get rid of the children, and I unfairly blame them and their stuff.

Make my first initial run with the new ceracoat and laser logo.

full disclosure, i own the middle one there.

short review: very nice

longer review coming :D

Yeah it does blow. It blows pretty hard...

Except for my first move from Texas to California in 1977, I've always needed a trailer as well.

Ah you guys are funny... Hahaha

I've got a pickup truck. I'll hopefully also be able to use a moving truck. All this means for me is I'll have to fix it before I can bring the bike to the new house.

I bet one of your bike buddies has a motorcycle trailer that you could use with that pickup truck.. just saying, since I'd rather work on it at the new place.

Bring it to the next gathering please! I want to check it out.

Also... what was the longbow that you let me shoot at the cabin? I really liked it.

I have a feeling I am going to collect a lot of bows. Haven't even been shooting a year and I will be getting my 2nd one very soon.

oh yeah, there will be a show and tell for sure :D

my long bow is an old beat up PSE... out of production, but something very nearly like it can be had at the Bass Pro shop over there in Hooksett if you're making a trip... glass on both sides, wood in the middle, about 68 inches. basic. good.

i'm running out of fun money (new toy showed up today and is in use next to me)... but i'd like one of those CNC canadian crossboys - also at Bass. very nice. also a dedicated high accurate "target bow"... semi-compound with optics even. quite nice. $$$$.

but you know, i use what i got as well. lots to learn.

Had to use my trusty machax to peel a log for a cross-cut saw demonstration today. It did a damn fine job.

That's a new one for me. Never heard of a bark spud before. Cool.

We usually just use a draw knife, but it was forgotten. Luckily I keep my bk-4 in my car.

Race saws are fun. We just got our practice saw back from being sharpened and it cuts incredibly well. Pretty damn satisfying.

I have yet to work up the stones to play with a race axe.:D

Although we do have several, underhand chop is intimidating.

this just dropped in

Oh no, he's going to 3D-print the End Times!!
(but don't worry, it will take *forever*, those things are slow) :D

Eating leftover brisket like a savage.
