Oh, The Weather Outside Is Snarkful...

Hmm. Trying to decide what color sheath to get from Azwelke. Orange would match my 14's handles but I think OD or coyote tan would look pretty cool with the orange handles too...

Got the keys to the house today!!! Pictures will follow this weekend! Party will follow this summer. :D

Snarkage is low. The Becker forum as a whole has been super slow lately. Grats on the house.

Some heavy posters have disappeared or slacked way off. WW moved to FL where has has little inet access AND a bunch of fun outdoorsy stuff to do, Moose, Derek and Psyop have gotten busy with work, so it adds up, or rather, slowed down.

Well heck. My circular saw just died after 25 years of limited service. Any new technological developments in circular saws I should be looking for when I go to the store?

most of them are just as loud, have half the power, and come with safety devices.

if I didn't already have a bunch of cordless tools that would become redundant and incompatible, I'd be looking at one of the big name cordless saws that use 7 1/4" blades.

I'm going corded. I like the idea of cordless, but I don't really use it often enough to justify the expense. And the last time I had a set of cordless tools they were never charged when I needed them. Then the batteries died for good.

is your old one really dead, or does it just need a new cord and brushes?

Possibly just new brushes. I've never cracked one open before, but I guess it won't hurt anything to try.

Where would I get new brushes if that's what it needs?
