What I find a little disturbing is that I actually (kind of) understand the Maestro of (verbal) Mayhem that is Blah-dee-té. Kind of.

It kind of troubles me that the longer I hang out here, the more I understand him. I don't know if he's getting clearer, I'm learning a new language, or maybe my brain cells are dying so fast that I just think I'm understanding..

Went to urgent care last night. I wasn't feeling good over the Christmas weekend. I was out of it Friday and Saturday. Sunday I started feeling better and went to work that night. I woke up yesterday feeling pretty good, and even got some much needed sheath work done. Then out of nowhere my sinuses on the left side of my face just started killing me. I've never felt that kinda pain before. My gf said it's got to be a sinus infection, and we need to go get me seen by a Dr. So we go, and get seen fairly quickly. The doc said since it hasn't been going on for three plus weeks there's nothing she's gonna do for me and it should go away on its own. She told me to get some behind the counter Sudafed and take Motrin. I started laughing because that's the same crap they give you in the military. My face still hurts and I don't want to miss more work.

The last time I was any kinda sick was four years ago. I've got way too much going on right now. This couldn't have happened at a worse time for me.

If you are blowing yellow/green snot, go find a different doc. They may, emphasis on may, give you some antibiotics. If it's just clear or white cloudy, you probably aren't going to get any better results from a different doc and just have to decongestant your way through. My medical expertise comes from having a bazillion sinus infections. It's my favorite way to get sick. Also, try some Mucinex. It can be helpful.

Then like magic... The case is dropped... He blamed paypal and his credit card company... Got upset with me for not being 100 percent polite... But if anyone reads my PMs they can see i was never disrespectful... Didn't cuss... And Kept my cool...

For anyone who knows me yall know that's not an easy task for me...

So, plain ole Wally World Equate brand cough syrup is guafenisin. I just use enough robitussin/equate equivalent to hit 600 mg and OTC pseudofed to achieve the same dosage levels for less than 1/2 the price. Told my doc what I did and he just said, "Well, I can't tell you that." and grinned. Didn't tell me not to do it either. And now he doesn't even bother giving me the guafed prescription. Just a prescription for an antibiotic (I only go if it turns green) and a comment "guafed would be good if you want it".

well, if the person is a Beckerhead, or a Kabar Klubber or anything like that, we can encourage better behavior by taking their privileges and even kicking them out of the club as it were;

absolutely use GBU to warn other people. sounds likes a standard tactic. call him out by nick, full name, address, phone number, so google can find that stuff.

if the deal went down in the forum for sales, notify super mods too. they like to keep track of scammers. they have magical ways to track and encourage too

esp in cases where someone goes in for multiple nicks and IP scams. sometimes it helps to have a live visit too . i'm esp pleased with how some antics in the HI forum were handled back in the day. you get send some nice items by Auntie, and then cancel payment? and then crow about your fast one on other forums? yah no. some good old boys got in a truck and drove some hours and politely said "hi, Auntie sent us to pick that shit up. now..." behavior changes fast when people find out others know their home address and are willing to help you out with postage

as a related note: make sure your PP account is in good standing, all monies returned, credit card is not dinged, or credit score affected... or PP vendor rating...

share with them evidence! watch out he doesn't try to pull a fast one again.

then file a reverse complaint with PP that this guy "made a significant error" and was attempting a scam, and that you'd like PP to look into it, if this is something he does alot. file enough complaints and PP is supposed to look at the per as well. who knows without calling them on it.
