Bad ohno505 aka Duke Sans is a liar and a thief

Pancho Guerro? Someone actually used this alias? That's better than Lone Wolf any day of the week.. lol.
I love it!
Little surprised you'd spread such propaganda ma'am.. I'd be interested if you could provide actual facts on the Pancho Guerro.. I don't Facebook, but that name is hilarious. Anyone translate it yet.. hahahaha.
You need to be banned.

I paid this clown $150 for a Protech Dark Angel on 11/28/2017. He claimed he was on the way to the post office last Thursday and would provide tracking. I emailed him 3 different times with no response until finally yesterday evening. He wrote to me that he “provided tracking on the forum, looks like Thursday” (for delivery). Yeah, he has not sent me anything.

The next email he asked me if I wanted a refund. I said yes because I was sick of this dude not responding. He then tells me file a claim with Paypal. What????

The latest email from him has told me “he knew better than to sell to someone too cheap to buy a membership and not to contact him again”.

Funny, I have never had a complaint before.

He has still not provided proof of shipping my knife.

Screenshots of the email chain? Evidence would be damning.

Most if what the OP wrote is true.
I asked to have the knife shipped first as the OP is fairly new.
huh? the ops been here since 2005, and yluve been here less than 12 months? hows he the fairly new one? seems to me you are the new one. what am i missing other than youve been here for 11 months buying and selling mainly? thanks.

op hope ya get your knife and made whole.

tigertaylor1 tigertaylor1 I am getting tired of hearing that while sure the alternatives may not be as good as PB once was there are still plenty of alternatives to posting images and in the multiple threads across the multiple message boards complaining about this has also been multiple suggestions. You can also always look and see what hosting the images you do see on BF are using to help yourself find an image host. Sorry if that comes across mean but it that to me the remarks about PB is sounding more like an excuse these days than a reason.

On the subject of the thread I was reading OPs posting thinking it sounded like a person jumping to conclusions a bit too quickly however the seemingly juvenile responses I am seeing from the accused make the OP seem like the calmer head here.

ndmiller took a quote from, I presume, the thread I am quoting above before you edited it. That partial quote says, "I haven't received the Hinderer." But in your edited version, you say you will ship the knife back when you get to NM. So which is it? You received the knife or not?

Great catch @on_the_edge, hadn't noticed the edit. Deal went from ship first provide tracking then I'll ship, to I'll ship when I get the Hinderer and I haven't, to I did get the Hinderer and I'll ship when I get back from NM.

While it may yet work out, the OP title seems appropriate at this point.

I am at work right now and can't really respond. I am glad that ohno505 has responded. I will post more after work.

It's been said many times by the moderation staff that it should send up a little red flag.

Not having anything other than a financial commitment to this community means the consequence of banning isn't an effective motivation to not go off the rails and start scamming.

Participating, making friends, and contributing is what makes this place important beyond buying and selling.

That sounds rather sanctimonious. I get what your saying at some level; but judging people because of how much time they choose to spend here or where they choose to do it is rather spurious, and in fact more of an opinion than fact.

Now that is a much better way to put it.
And to the OP - I hope this works out in the end for you.

Gastonknife Gastonknife my take away from his remarks is just that behavior pattern/community commitment should set off a caution alarm in your mind when you see certain patterns and/or behavior from the other party.
Exactly. It is just another bit of information to note when researching a transaction partner. It is hard to gather information on an individual when all their posts are "I'll take it" or sales threads.

I just don’t get it why not look at a sellers post areas? If all they do is sell here they have no tie to the forums other then to make money. So if the seller burns you it’s no skin off their back to get booted because they are using other sites or wait a few weeks until they buy a new membership here to do it agian. Someone that just posts in the selling form isn’t here to give deals or come out on the bottom of a deal they have a agenda to profit thru funds or trades or theft.
I do not think it is fair when people make blanket statements like that. Just because someone does not post in numerous areas here, does not mean they can't be trusted, have a secret agenda, etc.
Some folks may be members here to mainly buy or sell - what is really wrong with that? Don't think it makes them bad people. Perhaps they just don't want to get caught up in some of the drama that goes on, maybe a busy person, etc. They pay a membership and that is a good thing - they can participate in whatever they want or don't want here. There is always bad apples in everything - but don't let the bad apples spoil the bunch.
It doesn't mean they can't be trusted, but where a person posts and what they have to say for themselves makes for another piece of the puzzle when deciding whether to do business or not.

Absolutely Steve.......especially if I’m thinking of trading.
I have done one trade since joining and the ONLY reason I did it was because the member I traded with is someone who posts on other forums beside the trade forum.
I can get a pretty clear picture of a person by the way he presents himself via text and how he interacts with other people.
My trade partner was Craytab and if you are thinking of trading with him, do so with confidence. Great dude and a pleasure to deal with.

This would be impossible to do with someone who only posts in the Exchange.

Thanks Joe. Same goes for you. I've only done one trade and since it was you I felt perfectly safe. Same goes with international and proxy buyers. I've only done a couple of those transactions and they were only with members I knew from them being a contributing part of the forum outside of the exchange. @Armadew is one of those buyers. I'd deal with him again any day.

Having a good reputation here matters a lot to most of us. Not saying new people or those that only b/s/t have a bad reputation, they just have no reputation. Bit of a red flag. Big red flag on a trade.
