A real cherry of a knife Jack. The #15 Boy's Knife was the first GEC knife I boughtOnly problem was, I couldn't open the main blade without opening the secondary Pen blade first

The UK dealer couldn't get me a replacement unfortunately, but I settled for my lovely #66 Serpentine Jack insteadSubsequently, a kind former member gifted me one

It's always a treat to carry (you'll note I still had to raise the main blade slightly)

Many thanks BobA real cherry of a knife Jack.
You've got a very extensive collection JerI have no idea how long I've had this maximally undistinguished Colonial lying around, but I think it's time to oil the joints.

That one would be a good candidate for a pen blade removal modification. Very nice knife otherwise. OH

Very coolToday's old friend, HSB 9729 Junior Cattle Knife. Funny enough for a cattle knife, I bought this one used at a pawn shop a block or two from the historic stockyards in Ft. Worth a number of years ago. OH

A classic example of a knife and friendship.
Thanks Bob, Duane was one of my very first pals here on The PorchA classic example of a knife and friendship.![]()
Hope it turns up JerI can't find Dad's tiny Colonial serpentine jack. Mom would say it's just a thing, and I say often enough that an heirloom is a ball and chain, but it's probably in a pocket, whether jacket or jeans.

(Epoxy putty handle)
I was seeking the thread I posted when I bought it, and finding it not. I'm pretty sure it was early days for me here, when I was shifting from axes to trads.
I did find a 2013 thread about a Dick Tracy knife with a folding whistle and a missing "clue detector". I wonder what I did with that.
Thank you. That one's too heavy to get lost.Hope it turns up JerNice work on that handle
