This old friend has been with me since I bought it in the mid 70's.

I've not carried this S & M Heritage Jack for a while

L.F.& C made pocket knives 1916-1950
so this Jack has been around awhile, it's worn blades are a bit wobbly
though still sharp, fully functional with good snap
the thin covers are well figured, smooth, warm and feel... comfortable
like an old friend

I remember this was $2.50 at an estate sale (because who can use a knife with a missing shield?). I remember it from the old house, so I've had it over nine years. Maybe pre-2006, before my North Street house. I carried it a lot for some length of time.

Boker USA stamp and Tree Brand etch.
[Actually, pre-North Street would be1997 or earlier. I've had the knife longer than I really remember, so must be at least ten minutes.]

I bought this small TM Bingham Penknife from an antique shop, in the neighbouring West Yorkshire town of Wakefield, about 10 years ago. It was by far the best knife they had in, and also the cheapest
