Old Friends Friday

I believe I will go back to the Case 6375 in my pocket, for at least the weekend ... tho TBH it is tempting to go with the Robeson 622110 large jack knife. 🤨

A handsome choice
I have a "feeling" I will not be able to pick just one from the contenders for my 2024 KOTY ... even if I break it down to a KOTY by pattern.
Just in the Stockman category, I have five strong contenders that are neck and neck. They all check all the boxes to be my choice.
It'll be a hard choice, for many of us, I'm sure, but that thread requires a choice, that why it's called 'Your KNIFE of the year...' If you have that many contenders, and one of them doesn't stand out, you don't have a Knife of the Year ;)

I'm glad you mentioned that so I can start trying to remember which knives I did buy this year! That's not always easy. This year I'm pretty sure I already have a candidate picked out, though. 😁

That's the problem.
They ALL stand out.
Sounds like you've had a good knife year! :) You'll have to start another thread! :p🤣

I know what you mean! :D

I bought this one at Meijer's, I think before I was driving there myself.

Finally got around to sharpening up this old, but neglected, friend of my late Dad’s. He gave it to me a couple of years ago after finding it in an old coffee can full of nails and stuff in his shed. The scales had faded to a whitish-gray, but mineral oil fixed that.

Nice knife to have Tom :)

LB7 in a Bushmaster sheath. Somebody put some strange nicks in this blade.

Maybe they're 'notches' Jer! 😱😉👍
I have a full day ahead of me with doctor visits and shopping, and will be carrying my old favorite gunstock big'un, along with Big Red, of course.
