Old Friends Friday

I was in an antiques mall 7 or 8 years ago, and all the knives were overpriced and underwhelming. Then I spotted this small TM Bingham Penknife in a bowl on the counter, and it cost me £3 :) I used to carry it a lot

I knew it was Friday, but forgot Friday's import. There have been disturbances in my force lately.

I think I bought this in Marshall MI. No antique stores left there now.

I'm pretty sure I've never carried it, but suddenly it appeals to me. 3.5" closed.

Cool old Richards Jer :) I wasn't able to post yesterday, but I reckon my SamDamLamb counts as an Old Friend, been too long since I last carried it :)

I think someone was angry when he ground off all the stamps and etches from this Camillus Sword Brand. The resulting prehistoric vibe of the main blade now comports but ill with the knife's general urbanity.
He didn't spoil the temper, though. It can still take shavings off a common nail.

I miss these old deluxe editions of public domain classics. I remember the To Catch a Thief insurance man advertising one collection.
He also did the movie music from the classics commercial. "But did you know, that the theme from Kinky Boots, is Polivetsian Dance Number Two, by Borodin?"
That one never tempted me much.
