It's been a while since I last carried a Ring-Opener![]()
That ring-opener you sent me is great for when my thumbs are tired out from other knives!I'm that tired, I forgot what day it was!Been a hard week!

Thanks!Very nice JerGreat pics too

I think that's a really cool knife Jer, and looks to be decently made tooOf course the new-fangled springless knives are easy on the thumbnails.
Here's an electrician knife that doesn't hurt your thumbnail with the screwdriver.

That's also pretty cool TomAn old friend from work brought me this calligraphy back from Hong Kong a number of years ago, when he went back home to visit. I’m not sure if it’s Mandarin or Cantonese (he spoke Cantonese), but apparently my name means “soup”. I’m OK with folks calling me “soup”, just don’t call me LATE for soup…

Thanks! It reminds me of those Queen Barlows with the one-piece cast handles.I think that's a really cool knife Jer, and looks to be decently made too![]()
That's a nice one JerI know, this never happens, but I have no idea where or when I got this.

But now I'm all set to rig that sailing canoe I don't have.
It will be a bit of a hybrid if I use the oarlocks that I do have.
Nice one! That's a nice one JerIt's been a while since I last carried one of the British Army clasp knives I used to carry regularly. This one follows the same pattern, but was actually issued to the Belgian Navy

Nice JerI had a few possibilities today, but my hydrogeology field camp Camillus suddenly asserted itself.

Kind of a slim, light, Buck 110. I had it before field camp, but the rubber handle seemed extra appropriate during field camp.
Brilliant Jer!My old Gras bayonet. I almost never carry this, but the coyotes have got me thinking.

I might want something shorter for the coyotes who don't face you at high noon from thirty paces.
"Always on the watch, Sir! They don't all fight like fine gentlemen!"
Beautiful!
