That really looks good. I love that pattern, but the spear point blade, I don’t love. I have three 92s, ones a user, and I have never considered a mod to the blade. Did you do that yourself?

Thanks, Todd and Jack. Yes, did it myself on a 1x30 belt sander from Harbor Freight, followed by 400 wet/dry and a buffing wheel. You just gotta dip the blade after each pass to keep the steel cool.

This Humpback Half Whittler has been under glass in a display case for the last couple of years. Today it's great to have this old friend out, about and once again have in hand.

I bought this Buck in 1988 and we've had some times together. I've thought about dolling it up a bit, replacing the covers and rubbing out the scratches on the bolsters...or maybe just leaving it be.
