Serpentine Jacks do make good companions and French Ivory looks good on that one.
The patina and shield wear give it tons of character. Enjoy your old friend today Jack!

I'm gonna carry this one from Italy. It gets out quite often but it's been awhile.
One can say whatever they want about it's construction... I simply say they're really well built.

Thank you very much my friend :)

I was looking for my chocolate-colored Camillus small jack. I found these instead. A. Field & Co/ Progress pen, and a sad old Camillus peanutoid with cracked celluloid handles and a worn out spring. Pretty handles, though.

Nice Jer, I don't recall seeing either of those before

Two old friends and companions. The Buck 110 I received from my parents back in 1982 when I was 12, and the Kissing Crane stiletto I bought when I was 16. Both have seen a lot of use for all manner of cutting chores. The stiletto I carried daily from the age of 16 through 31, it's now long retired, but I still use the 110.

The first two years I owned this knife I frequently thought to myself, "Best knife made in the Western Hemisphere!".
Now I simply say, "I sure am happy to pocket this good ol' friend."
