Old Friends Friday

Carrying my 2018 Guardians Lambsfoot SFO today, at one time an almost daily carry, but still definitely an Old Friend

My ancient Camillus from an independent hardware store long since gone to its reward.

from the first Red Trout run

always reminds me of Rich who became like, an old friend of the family, by the end of just a couple of phone calls

wish I could have been with him in Alaska when the trout were biting
since he did guide others during those fishing trips, maybe I would have caught a 10 pound brookie
like Rich did more than once

what a guy... God bless his soul

I love "Old Friends" Friday"!
Ya get to revisit stuff like this, Case's Humpback Whittler.
It came out for a quick minute during my G10/Micarta era and then it was gone.

Guess I like old school patterns with new school materials because this is still a favorite.
