Old Friends Friday

I was gifted this Aitor Castor Pequenya quite some years ago, and I was absolutely amazed at how useful it was. Got it in my pocket again today :)

I must be getting old!! This faithful old Northwoods makes me think of the great men who led that company in years gone by!! Dave Shirley and Derrick Bohn ( both R.I.P.)!!!
Dave, a Scagel collector and creative lead for his cutlery; and Derrick, a competent and very generous CEO, beloved by his employees and customers alike!!
Great company still motoring along with Derricks family and friends!!
I always liked this knife - a great pattern!! I was envious that I didn't fit into an SFO position for my version, because I had done too many knives at that point!!
As you can see I have mellowed the Stag over the years just handling the knife; it is such a joy to use!!Willamette Stag 1.jpg

From my Granddad to my Dad to me, this one has been hanging around my family for the last 50-60 years. OH

You're a fortunate fella OH! I feel blessed just to hear of a family heirloom like that, let alone owning it!!!:thumbsup:
