Thanks. I do too. It's elegantly basic. Not very popular, though, apparently, because I had a long time to anguish over it. A thing can be a very good price before I think it's cheap enough. I think this was $40 a few years ago. I finally bought it because the girl who took it out of the case for me looked like she was getting tired of hauling it out and putting it back.

Actually, I've only had this Florist for a couple of years but it has since been retired by Victorinox.
Hope that qualifies it as an Old Friend.

I still have the letter paulhilborn sent me with lovely old Boker USA Jack, explaining how he found it in an old store window, and carefully restored it It's one of my really special knives, and I always enjoy carrying it

rescued this 55 (in rough condition) several years ago... I got lucky since IMO it cleaned up well

glad to have it, just wish I had some before pics but this all occurred before I had ever taken a pic of a knife
