Fantastic :cool: I believe T. Erdelyi T. Erdelyi also has a Gerlach, which is a family heirloom, in this pattern, if I remember correctly. I occasionally come across them :thumbsup:

My Japanese picnic knife from the early 1980s. (I'm getting so old I'd better start specifying the centuries.)

It's a number 10. I forget if they had a larger one that I would have felt ridiculous with.
:D lol There is a number 12 opinel Jer but I think it's classified as a sword. ;) :p
 
I was maybe in my mid-teens when I bought this probable file-knife at the now defunct flea market. Mom said, "Whoever made that probably liked knives as much as you do".
I like the full flat grind.
