Old Friends Friday

She certainly is my friend :) I love the blade shape, and find it very useful. The stock is thin, which makes it very slicey! 😁👍
And it has back-up springs!
Dad's little Colonial loaner:

I wonder how far back it went with him.

I could figure out how old this is by looking for its first appearance on BF, but I've had it a while.

That's interesting Jer, do you know where it's made?
Great choice today guys! Here's a unsung little worker from Switzerland. Big enough to grip securely (even with gloves on) yet it is so light it's a joy to carry and proven to, "slice like the dickens." :)

Thanks James, your Old Friend looks like a hard worker :)

This old Boker makes its way back into my pocket from time to time. The little Keen Kutter, too.

They both ooze character Rachel :)
I think it was made at the farm where I bought it. That was a very cool estate sale. I bought a wooden-works clock out of a niche in the wall that was probably built for it.
And the handle of the knife probably was part of an interior partition in the barn.
