Wonderful memories!Pulled this out to give it a once-over. Nice and small but mighty. Gifted to me by my dad around 50 years ago.

Thank you for your kind words. My father always carried a pocket knife. He only owned one at a time but also had a few hunting knives that he eventually passed down to me. All of his knives were strictly "tools" and he kept them very sharp. He constantly sharpened them until the main blade was down to a "nib". With either Case or Buck knives that he had owned he would send them back for a new knife. My dad switched from Case to Buck because he felt that Buck used better steel. I'm not sure he was right but he sure like the Buck 303.Wonderful memories!
A special knife indeed! What a picture show we have today! My first TC Barlow, a kind gift from CharlieIt's always been a special knife

What a lovely giftThis one was given to me by my brother many years ago because my wife and I enjoy canoeing. I don’t carry it often but today seemed like a good day for it.

Agreed Jack! Handling first to experiancing the heft and action is by far the preferred search method. So much so, I wish it could be my only method. Electronic picsDefinitely James, it's a lot more satisfying that way, I think, too![]()

Electronic pics never give even the slightest clue to the all important feel of a product.
I had one of those back in the old days . A fine knife and good slicer.
"Inaccuracy" seems to be growing worse Jack. To the point, that not being allowed access to certain on-line sites is probably a good thing. So much more fun supporting a couple of quality dealers I have within driving distance anyway.I know what you mean James, so many old knives sold online seem to be described inaccurately. European residents aren't allowed to purchase knives from the big auction site, which curtails my spending there!![]()
